Hirshhorn Art Gallery, Washington, District of Columbia, USA

Third stop: The Hirshhorn Art Gallery.

This building is circular with a hole in the middle, somewhat like a donut. I did not take any photos inside, but did photograph some of the outdoor 'sculpture garden'.

Subcommittee, Tony Cragg, 1991

Needle Tower, Kenneth Snelson, 1968

Two Discs, Alexander Calder, 1965. This struck me as being hauntingly familiar. There is a similar (although much larger) sculpture on Montreal's Ile St Helene called L'Homme ('The Man', or just 'Man'). Unsurprisingly, it's by the same artist at about the same time.
